Rock Point Inn

We weren't even visiting Lyme for lunch however the Rock Point Inn looked so lovely we couldn't resist stopping for a bite to eat. The setting is absolutely superb looking out over Lyme Bay. Excellent choice of beers including Proper Job which is kept beautifully. The menu was extensive with many choices and both our meals were faultless, staff were attentive and really friendly. A return visit is imminent.

Just returned from another top class visit to the Rock Point. The pub looked amazingly festive with 2 beautifully decorated trees. Dan and his very friendly team were so welcoming. It was very clear that everyone was happy in their work and very much worked together as a team to support one another. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed a delicious dinner on both nights - one being the festive menu. This was by far the best Christmas meal out that I have enjoyed in a long time. It was plentiful with lots of succulent turkey, a wide selection of fresh veg and roast potatoes to die for. Everything at the Rock Point was done to the highest standard and everything was done with a smile. We had a very enjoyable 2 night stay - will most definitely be returning and I would thoroughly recommend. Rooms/bathrooms are lovely - staff great and all food delicious. Really need to stay a week to enjoy more from the a la carte dinner menu and the vast breakfast selection. Thanks to all for your warm welcome and hospitality. Have a great Christmas

We've all rolled into a restaurant before without checking reviews and 9 times out of 10 end up disappointed with either the food, service or sadly both, well on this occasion I am delighted to say that this place was that 1 in 10 place that delivered so well on both. Great food, great service and fabulous venue. Well done to all the staff and Manager. Great menu, small but perfect for all pallets. Super friendly staff, very attentive, amazing view of the sea. Absolutely rate this place a solid 9 out of 10 or 4 and a half stars. All in all a wonderful dining experience. Didn't see any of the rooms here (hotel also) so cannot comment..however was told these are currently under renovation and I have little doubt these will be fantastic once completed. Thanks to all the staff and Manager. We'll done guys.

Visited for the Christmas menu having already had 2 fantastic experiences in November with top quality service. Despite having been busy with Christmas bookings the staff once again were beyond attentive, the food was exceptional (in fact near faultless) and the atmosphere was one of the best we've experienced in the South West for a long time. We'll definitely be back but thought the staff deserved a massive well done for the professionalism and friendliness of their service as well!
